Vitalii Proskurin & Jenya Shatilova

Eugenia is originally from Russia. She began her dance career at the age of 12 and has specialized in Ballroom and Latin. After moving to the United States she continued to achieve success in her amateur dance career, and became a finalist at all major US amateur competitions. In 2010 Eugenia decided to turn professional and in 2011 she moved to California to advance her dancing there. Eugenia has assisted in choreography on SYTYCD and on the MTV show “Faking it”.

Vitalii was born in Ukraine, city of Sevastopol, where he grew up. At the age of 7 Vitalii’s mom brought him to a dance studio. There he started learning Ballroom and Latin styles of dancing. Later on at the age of 14 Vitalii decided to move to Kiev in order to continue his dance career at a higher level. In 2008 Vitalii moved to the United States. He became the Ukrainian Champion at the age of 16, was finalist at the International Dance Championships, and a U.S. National Amateur Finalist. 
Eugenia and Vitalii started dancing together in November 2013.


They had been winning every Professional Rising Star Event since their first competition. In 2014 Eugenia and Vitalii won the U.S. National Rising Star Professional Latin Championship as well as U.S. Open to the World Rising Star Professional Latin Championships, and became finalists at the U.S. National Professional Latin Championships.
