Vladyslav Babenko was introduced to dance at age 6 in his home country, Ukraine. When he was 12 he moved to Hungary, where he found a himself a partner. After a successful career and 3 years of living in Hungary, he returned to Ukraine and continued to preform in his homeland. Vladyslav understood from the very beginning that he wanted to devote his life to dancing. With this passion, he decided to get a higher education in the field of ballroom dancing, and graduated from the Ukrainian University of Culture and Arts. In the process of getting his education, Vladyslav coached children and prepared them for competitions. While still residing in his homeland, he was a Champion in Ukraine, as well as winner and finalist of various international competitions.
Anastasia Shynkarova , a Belarus native, entered the realm of dance at the age of 7. She always dreamed of being a ballerina, and her parents thought that ballroom dancing was ballet and signed her up to a ballroom dancing class. From this her career began. After a year of training, she successfully performed in various competitions, and quickly realized that she wanted to connect her life with dancing. She graduated from a choreographic college and then from the University of Arts in Belarus. Anastasia was a finalist Championship of Belarus as well as a winner and finalist of various competitions. In 2015, she left for Moscow to train there with a new, found partner. The couple was successful, but the partnership came to an end after a short three years.
In 2013, Vladislav and Nastya tried to dance together for the first time. All of the coaches were very happy because from the very beginning it was clear that this couple would be successful. This joy was interrupted by the military fires which began in Ukraine, causing Vladyslav and Nastya to be separated. Many years later, when Vlad was looking for a partner (while already in America), he found Nasty’s contact information and invited her to America. In 2018 a new partnership was established!
